Your interior starts with the stairs!
Dream homes need dream stairs

EeStairs really enjoys working in outstanding home interiors. We’ve made and installed hundreds of interior stairs, and when the designer or architect makes the stairs an integral part of their concept the outcome – as the following examples show – is always exceptionally satisfying, aesthetically.

Save the spinning

In this super stylish apartment in Greenwich Village, New York, architect Robert Kahn wanted a statement staircase that would wrap around a structural column. And he wanted us to make it using a continuous steel plate balustrade and treads with no visible welds. Looks effortless, doesn’t it? Actually, we had to crane the stairs into the space through a window in two sections.

Getting a grip, beautifully

The balustrade on this staircase at a home in Belgium feature our Cells™ steel balustrade, created by our unique geometric programme which produces the open-weave cells. And they’re not just artistic. Our clients wanted a balustrade that could be easily gripped by their elderly parents and children. You could say that the Cells™ balustrade is beautifully safe!

History meets 21st century geometry

When Bijsterbosch & Jacobs Architects transformed the historic Carré van Bloemendaal, Holland’s first psychiatric hospital in 1848, they created 44 houses and apartments. And in one of the homes, we made and fitted two spiral staircases which introduced the 21st century into this elegant space. The steel balustrades were precision-welded on site, and the ultra-smooth EeSoffit emphasise the curving geometry.

Stairs for monochrome interiors

This staircase, in a luxury maisonette in South Kensington, London, matches the monochrome interior design perfectly. The treads and risers have darkly stained lacquered wood, giving their saw-tooth outline a graphically powerful rhythm as the six flights of stairs rise through three storeys. A key challenge was getting the staircases – in four sections – through the French windows.

A new space-saving angle on interiors

The owners of this apartment in Amsterdam have a minimalist sense of style which is obvious in the subtly contrasting colours and textures of the furniture. Our unique 1m2™ helical stairs add a new angle to the interior design, and are powder-coated in a textured matt black with a subtle bronze undertone. These compact stairs have been a space-saving hit in homes in Milan, Bucharest, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Paris.

Our AR tool offers the experience to view the 1m2™ staircase in your own space.

And let’s not forget our ‘backstage’ team!

As you must have noticed, stairs like these are very challenging to install. That’s why we have highly trained EeCrews in Europe, the UK, and North America. They’ve installed staircases in city towers, retail stores, offices, commercial settings, and homes of every size. And they’ve done so with great care and precision – as this short video clip shows:
